I don't like long socks as I have large calf's. On saying that, I love these so much I've purchased another pair! I'm a size 6uk/8aus and got the medium. Perfect fit on the foot, with just enough room to not be bunching in your boots. They are tight enough around your leg to stay up all day but not dig into your skin.
