Quality Wrangler Mens at Allingtons
Wrangler men's denim in Cowboy Cut, Retro, Active Flex, Tough Comfort and Tough Lite, plus Western long-sleeve shirts, logo tees, softshell jackets, vests and boardshorts.
Two Denims, the Same Jean
Wrangler makes its Cowboy Cut in two fabrics, and choosing between them is the only real decision in the range. The original is 14.75oz cotton with no stretch at all. It arrives stiff, gives about an inch across the first fortnight, and then holds that shape for years. People either love that process or have no patience for it, and both positions are reasonable.
Active Flex is the same cut in a broken-twill denim at 13.5oz with one per cent spandex through it. Wrangler builds it for bending, lifting and squatting, and it moves from the first wear rather than the tenth. Neither is better. Rigid is for anyone who wants a jean that ends up moulded to them, Active Flex for anyone who would rather not wait, and the Wrangler jeans range carries both alongside the Retro, Regular and Tough Comfort canvas fits.
Wrangler Men's Shirts, Tees and Layers
Shirts run to about seventy styles. The Checotah classic-fit long sleeve is the Western one, in mocha, old glory and high desert, with vintage stripe long sleeves and a classic-fit denim shirt beside it. Drill shirts carry the logo across the yoke for anyone who wants the brand read from across a yard, and the plainer long sleeves cover the days when it does not need to be.
Short-sleeve tees are the volume line, in vintage and regular fits with print work across the chest and the Ryder logo styles in five colours. Above that sit rugbies, polos, quarter-zip jumpers, a wool shirt jacket, hoodies and the classic denim jacket, then shorts, cargo shorts and boardshorts for summer. Navy runs through most of it, with cypress, tobacco, sage, cognac and camel filling out the rest.
The Women's Side of the Same Range
Plenty of these styles are cut for both, and the prints usually match across the two. If you are buying for a couple or kitting out a family for a show weekend, the women's Wrangler range runs the same shirt patterns and logo tees on women's blocks rather than smaller men's ones, which is the difference between a shirt that fits and a shirt that nearly does.
Sort the Denim, Then the Rest
The men's Wrangler clothing range is online and ready to go, and anything over $175 ships free anywhere in Australia. If you are moving between the rigid and the stretch, ring us before you order rather than after, because the two size differently. The Parafield showroom has both hanging together.
Once the jeans are settled, the pieces that finish the look are worth a look on the way past:
