Finding the Right Wrangler Womens
Wrangler women's denim in Q-Baby, Ultimate Riding, Willow, Bespoke and Rodeo fits, with 34-leg options, plus Western shirts, blouses, rugbies, hoodies, dresses and outerwear.
Waistbands Drawn Around a Saddle
The Ultimate Riding fits are the ones to know, because Wrangler designs them for sitting on a horse rather than standing beside one. They carry a no-gap waistband so nothing opens up at the back when you are in the saddle, and the seams are laid flat so there is nothing pressing into you an hour into a ride.
Q-Baby is the mid-rise version with extra give through it. Willow does something cleverer again with a pitched waistband that sits lower at the front and higher at the back, which is the shape a waist actually is once you lean forward.
Bespoke is the curve-fit line, cut to sit without gaping and finished with the W stitching and logo patch. All of them, along with the Rodeo, Mae, Bailey and Dillen fits, live in the Wrangler jeans range.
Wrangler Women's Shirts, Blouses and Tees
Shirts are the biggest single category here, ahead of the jeans. Long-sleeve Western styles and classic-fit denim shirts sit next to a logo drill shirt, and there are more blouses than jackets and vests combined, which is not what people expect from the name on the label. The cuts lean fitted through the body with room across the shoulders, so they sit properly under a vest.
Tees carry the print work: Giddy Up Retro, Sunset Rider and a girlfriend-fit Rodeo Archive among them. Rugbies and polos handle the in-between days, and there are maxi shirt dresses, a denim skirt, tanks, shorts and softshell layers through the rest. Colours run well past denim blue into egret, ivory, copper, blush, olive, berry, teal and charcoal.
What the Men's Range Shares
A good deal of the print and colour work runs across both sides, so a couple or a whole family can turn up matching without trying very hard. The difference is in the blocks: the men's Wrangler range is cut on men's patterns and this one on women's, rather than one being a scaled-down version of the other.
That sounds like a small thing until you have worn a shirt cut for someone else's shoulders through a long day. Wrangler hats are the piece that genuinely crosses over between the two ranges.
Build the Outfit, Not Just the Jeans
The women's half of the Wrangler clothing range is online and ready to send, free across Australia once you pass $175. Jean sizing varies a fair bit between the riding fits and the curve fits, so ring us and we will talk you through it rather than let you order two pairs to keep one.
The Parafield showroom has the fits side by side if you are close enough. A pair of jeans is a start, and these are what finish it:
