Find Your Perfect Pure Western Footwear
Over 30 pairs, and almost all of them are Western-style boots. The striking thing is the spread of sizes: children's, toddlers' and infants' together account for about half the range, which makes this one of the few Western boot collections you can genuinely kit a whole family out from in a single order. Women's styles are the biggest adult group and men's the smallest.
Taped Seams and a Footbed That Lifts Out
Two details separate these from a boot bought on price. The interior seams are taped, which means the ridge where the leather is joined inside the boot is covered rather than left to rub across the top of your foot for the first month.
The other is the insole. It is memory foam, it wicks moisture rather than holding it, and it lifts straight out, so it can dry out overnight and be swapped for a fresh one once it packs down. The women's boots use a cupped version of the same footbed, which holds the heel a little more securely under a block heel and stops the foot sliding forward on a slope.
Women's Western Boots
There are just under thirty women's styles here. Shafts run around eleven inches with a western square toe and a block heel of about four centimetres, in a grained leather upper over a rubber sole.
Colours cover the expected browns, from tan and chestnut through walnut, bark and antique brown, and then get more interesting: taupe, cumin, distressed white and a burnished turquoise for anyone tired of brown. There are also two pairs of Western sheepskin Ugg boots, in an eleven-inch and a six-inch height, and a scuff slipper for when the boots finally come off at the back door.
Kids', Toddlers' and Men's
The children's and toddlers' boots are where this range really earns its keep. Many styles run in both a children's and a toddler's size under the same name, so a younger sibling can inherit the look, and the colourways go well beyond sensible: brown with barn red, dark brown with fuchsia, bomber with magenta, and one in rainbow.
The men's side is the smallest at about ten styles, in oiled and waxy browns and black, with a dress boot among them and one taller safety-toe style. Check the individual listing for what any given pair is built with rather than assuming from the shape.
