Trusted Ringers Western Jeans for Work & Life

Seventy-two pairs sit in this range, split roughly six to four in favour of women, with a handful of children's and an infant pull-on. Once you look past the style names, the shapes narrow down quickly: bootleg on the women's side, slim and straight on the men's.

The Boot Comes First, Then the Jean

Ringers Western designs its denim to pair with boots, and you can read that decision straight off the range. High-rise bootleg cuts dominate, because a bootleg leg is the only shape that falls cleanly over a boot shaft instead of catching on it or riding up the back.

The Penny line alone accounts for around a fifth of everything here, in high rise bootleg, rodeo high rise bootleg, a fringed version and a Coolmax yarn version for hot days. If you have ever pulled a boot on and then spent five minutes wrestling the denim back down over it, the point of all this will be obvious.

Women's Ringers Western Jeans

The women's half runs to about forty pairs. Beyond Penny there are saddle-stitch rodeo cuts with a wide bootleg, mid-rise straight legs, mid-rise bootlegs, skinny legs and wide legs, plus a lace-front rodeo style for anyone who wants the jean to do the talking.

Washes go from light blue and vintage light blue through mid and classic blue to black wash and off white, with a washed pink among them. A raw denim pair sits at one end for people who prefer to break their own in and end up with a jean that fades where they actually move. The rest of the Ringers Western clothing range is built in the same colour family.

Men's Jeans and the Drill Cuts

The men's side is about twenty-three pairs and it leans practical. Slim straight, classic fit straight leg, tapered leg and slim fit mid rise cover most of it, in dark blue, mid wash, black and sand. There is less variation here than on the women's side, which is either a limitation or a mercy depending on how you feel about choosing jeans.

Two of the men's styles are not denim at all: a cotton drill jean and a stretch drill five-pocket, which give you the jean shape in a workwear fabric. They sit naturally with the Ringers Western workwear range if that is the direction you are heading. Children's bootleg and relaxed cuts run underneath both sides.
