I have a few Akubras, of varying styles, and I had a Stony Creek, a sand one, which I luv'd. Someone must've luv'd it more than me, because it was stolen. That left me without a western. I like a western brim, very smart. I was baulking at the prices now, so was looking at wool felt jobs. I have a wool felt slouch hat which isn't bad at all. So I was primed to buy a wool felt western. When it came time to pull the trigger on one I couldn't do it. Despite the heftier price tag, I decided I'd get an Akubra, a Rough Rider, black one. Touch smaller brim than the Stony, which is not a bad thing. Nice shape, too, the RR. So then I went about finding the best price for one. Look, they're not cheap. But Akubra fur felt
