They’re leather, but they're not a waterproof boot. Use a conditioner regularly, and add Dubbin if you need extra water repellence for wet yards.

How do I care for my Acton boots?

Brush off dust, wipe with a slightly damp cloth for mud, and let them air dry away from heat. Feed the leather with a quality leather conditioner. Dubbin helps with water resistance if you’re in wet, mucky spots, but it will make the leather appear darker.
