The comfort comes from Ariat’s 4LR™ support system and an All Day Cushioning insole you can pull out to air, clean, or swap. Underfoot, the Duratread™ outsole grips well and is oil- and slip-resisting, plus it’s tested for hot contact (up to 300°C). Add a 90° heel for ladder rungs and uneven ground, and you’ve got a boot that feels steady when your day gets messy.
Safety-wise, they’re ASTM F2413 rated for steel toe impact/compression, electrical hazard resistance, and slip resistance. In plain English: they’re made for real work, not just looking the part.

How do I look after them?
We recommend treating the suede shaft with a suede protector before you start wearing them. Brush off dry dirt after wear and wipe with a damp cloth if needed. Let them dry naturally (no heaters or sunshine). The distressed leather foot can be nourished with a leather conditioner to keep the leather supple.
Are they waterproof?
No. If you’re working in wet grass or muddy yards a lot, you’ll want to use a water proofer and let them dry properly between wears.
How heavy do they feel compared to a non–steel toe boot?
They’ll feel heavier than a soft-toe boot, mainly because of the steel cap. The pay-off is protection. Most people stop noticing the weight once the boot softens up and the insole beds in.
Can I swap the insole for orthotics?
Yes. Because the insole is removable, most standard work orthotics fit fine. If your orthotics are thick, you might need a touch more volume (or go up a width) so your toes don’t cop pressure from the steel cap.
